A few simple Bible passages can lead you into an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. This is a path to becoming born again. This will help lead you into a miraculous experience (being born again) where all of the Bible and God's promises become realities. We pray that the power of God's Holy Spirit awaken in you the new creation promised to every believer. I have inserted a few comments with the scripture for understanding's sake.

However, to understand these words, we must first pray. I ask all who read this to join us in prayer. Jesus is Lord.

Oh, Lord, draw hurting and needy people to yourself and open all our eyes in a new way. Make these words come alive by your Holy Spirit, help us to see by the light of Your word. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

 Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

All means all. The most moral, the most caring, and the uncaring, we have still all fallen short of God's best.

Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Wages is what we earn when we work at something, it’s what we deserve. But a gift is something not deserved. Death, and all it's forms, was never meant for those created in the image of God. It was always reserved for the fallen angels.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

You see, though we've earned the wages of sin, we don’t have to die, Jesus did that for us already. We also don't have to live in fear or shame, because of the consequences of our wrong doing. Jesus died for all that also.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved

It begins so simply. If we would call out to Jesus, he will find us. He will save us from what we have earned, from what we deserve.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Yes, Jesus is alive. His execution was not deserved and only temporarily successful, he allowed it voluntarily to pay the price for your sin, for your faults, all in advance, before you were born. Though Jesus was and is without fault he could pay the sentence for your faults. And because he was not guilty, the grave could not hold him. He got up from that grave. Now, all you have to do is believe and declare that he is alive and still innocent, that he is God. Say it out loud, and live it openly, in front of witnesses.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Just so we understand, you believe with your heart, but you say what you believe with your mouth. We must move away from secret believing to out loud believing to receive eternal salvation. Words are important and cannot be avoided. Words have to be followed with actions, but words cannot be avoided.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

In the end it was God himself that made a way for us, the guilty ones, to be freed from punishment.  “His only begotten Son,” willingly stepped forward to take your punishment. Now, no matter how you feel, no matter what you think, choose to believe that Jesus is able to do what he said.

He said he would be crucified, he was. He said he would be raised from the dead, he was. He said if any man would believe and say that he was risen from the dead and if anyone would allow Him to be the sacrifice for their sin, they would be saved.

YOU are saved, Born Again, new from the inside out, if you have believed and done these things.

Not because you feel like it, not because I said so. It is because Jesus says so.

Now you are free to live a good and righteous life, in the presence and fellowship of Jesus and his followers. You will not be perfect in this life, but you will be clean from guilt and shame, able to do good even to those who oppose you.  This ability is all possible through an open account of provision set up for you in Jesus Name.
